She will travel the country advocating her platform Foster Adoption awareness through the Heart Gallery of America.

Rebekah has a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal studies Elementary Education, Cum Laude. She is a distinguished alumna of both Long Beach City College and Azusa Pacific University. She spends her time volunteering with a local crisis pregnancy shelter 'His Nesting Place', and mentoring young girls in her community via speaking events at retreats and conferences. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Heart Gallery as well as the National Gallery events team,
Rebekah is currently a co-director of the Martine Cotillions, a premier Cotillion on the west coast which teaches children good manners and confidence building social skills as well as traditional ballroom dance. She has also created an etiquette curriculum which was used at a local middle school.
Rebekah will leverage her position as Mrs. International® 2007 to champion foster/adoption awareness via the Heart Gallery of America. The Heart Gallery unites professional photographers with foster children. This program is beneficial as each photographer attempts to capture the essence of the child in the picture. Rather then a random snapshot, these portraits are shot in settings that fit each child and draw you into the photograph, in the hopes of finding the child a "forever family". It also exposes the need for foster and adoptive parents as the gallery travels from location to location. There are around 130,000 children across the country waiting for permanent adoptive homes and a half million children in the foster care system altogether.
Rebekah's compassion for foster/adoption started at an early age. Her mother was a foster child and was placed at age 10 in a loving home by Bethany Christian Services. Her mother's adoptive parents became the grandparents that Rebekah grew up loving. The Keller family continued to foster children even though there was a house full of biological kids. Recently, her family was blessed when Rebekah's sister adopted a child and he has become her adorable nephew. Greg and Rebekah Negrete have joined the efforts of fostering and they look forward to the possibility of adoption. She encourages everyone to get involved in some capacity whether it is short term by volunteering/mentoring or a life time commitment of adoption.
